This Japanese bancha green tea was created in the city of Kyoto, Japan. It has an aromatic warm nutty scent and a light roasted chestnut flavor. Although considered a green tea, it has a low caffeine content as it is made from the veins and stems of sencha and is roasted in small batches as the final stage after steaming. The liquor is a warm reddish-brown, absent of any bitterness with a slight smoky taste.
